I have been building software since the early 90s — back when developers were still called "computer people" in Turkey. Over 25+ years I have designed and shipped robust, scalable systems for the retail and hospitality industries.

Today I'm CTO and lead developer at SambaPOS, responsible for both the architecture and the day-to-day craft of a product used in markets around the world. Along the way I've learned a lot about architectural decisions, building teams, open source, and turning emerging technology into practical leverage.

I was part of the AWS Community Builders program during 2025–2026. I'm a columnist for The Executives, speak at conferences and meetups, appear on podcasts, and publish my own notes on Substack and Medium.
